What is covered?

  • Subsistence costs to cover a legal or judicial assistance, covering legal costs when you are sued or filed a lawsuit;
  • Subsistence costs to meet most basic needs for you and/or your family in exceptional situations;
  • Subsistance costs to cover medical needs after an assault;
  • Financial support for temporary national or local relocation.

Important information about time and eligibility restrictions, as well as further requirements:

  • This aid may not exceed a period of three months, and may only be renewed in the event of absolute necessity.
  • The assistance provided by Agir ensemble pour les droits humains is not limited to financial assistance only: the effectiveness of the Emergency Fund is based on intervention mechanisms developed on a case-by-case basis and regular monitoring of threats.
  • Family members can be supported in exceptional cases.
