- Requests to access the fund have to be filed through the local unions (one per region).
- For criminal trials the FNSI can support legal expenses for a maximum of 2000 Euro in the first degree, and other 1000 Euro for the second and for the third degree. Maximum of 4000 Euro for the complete trial. In a civil case, the maximum is 5000 Euro.
